SD Guthrie (KLSE:SDG), formerly known as Sime Darby Plantation, said its profit attributable to owners plunged to 766 million ringgit in the third quarter from 1.21 billion ringgit a year earlier.
Earnings per share slumped to 0.111 ringgit from 0.1750 ringgit a year ago, according to a Wednesday filing with Bursa Malaysia.
Revenue of the fats and oils refiner, however, rose 10% annually to 5.27 billion ringgit from 4.77 billion ringgit.
The board did not recommend a dividend for the period.
