Spark New Zealand (NZE:SPK, ASX:SPK) appointed Stewart Taylor as chief financial officer, effective Dec. 9, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

Taylor was most recently CFO at insurance company Partners Life, the filing said.

The company's shares were up almost 1% in recent Tuesday trade in New Zealand.
