Media Chinese International (HKG:0685) shrank its attributable loss for the six months ended Sept. 30 to $1.9 million from $4.9 million in the year-ago period, a Wednesday bourse filing said.

Loss per share stood at $0.0012, down from $0.0029 in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year.

The publishing company saw its turnover for the half-year swell by 12% to $86.8 million from $77.5 million a year prior, driven mainly by the travel segment.
