Critical Resources' (ASX:CRR) Mavis Lake project in Canada secured funding for early-stage exploration of critical minerals from the Ontario Government under the Ontario Junior Exploration Program for 2024 to 2025, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program allows eligible expenses between Apr. 1 and Feb. 28, 2025, directly related to the project's completion, to be eligible for funding of up to CA$200,000, the filing said.

Shares fell more than 14% in afternoon trade Monday.
