Huisen Household International Group (HKG:2127) has resolved to change its financial year-end date to June 30 from Dec. 31, a Tuesday bourse filing said.

The company's subsequent audited financial statement will cover 18 months, starting Jan. 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025.

The furniture manufacturer said the change will allow it to avoid competing with other listed firms in seeking audit services during peak reporting season.

Huisen Household said the move would also ease pressure on the group's workflow by eliminating uncertainty from the variation in the Chinese New Year Holiday dates.
