Lamar Advertising Announces Special Dividend

Lamar Advertising Company declared a special dividend.

The Baton Rouge, La.-based advertising company on Friday said its board approved a special payout of 25 cents per share. Its quarterly dividend remains at $1.40 per share.

Both dividends are payable on Dec. 30 to holders of record of Class A and Class B common stock on Dec. 18.

The company's last quarterly dividend raise came in August, when it lifted the payout by 7.7%.
