Hillenbrand hiked its quarterly dividend 1.1% to 22.5 cents per share.
The Batesville, Ind., processing-equipment maker said on Thursday its board approved the hike, bringing the annual dividend to 90 cents per share, an increase of 1 cent. That is equal to a dividend yield of 2.7% based on the company's latest closing per share price of $32.95.
The dividend will be payable Dec. 31 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Dec. 16.
