PPG Industries (PPG) said Thursday that it has completed an on-site solar installation at its manufacturing plant in Caivano, Italy.
The 1.5 megawatt solar installation, along with an existing combined heat and power unit, is expected to bring down annual operating costs at the facility by about 15% and allow the company to achieve its 2030 greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets, PPG said.
