NexGen Energy (ASX:NXG) secured its first uranium sales contracts for the Rook 1 uranium project in Canada, according to a Thursday filing in the Australian bourse.
The project now has contracted five million pounds of uranium with a market-related price mechanism upon delivery, the filing said.
The company's shares rose almost 4% in recent Thursday trade.
