Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) shipped the first batch of spodumene concentrate to its offtake partner LG Energy Solution under a long-term deal, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
A total of 11,000 wet metric tonnes (wmt) will be delivered to LG Energy Solution as part of a two-cargo shipment totaling 33,000 wmt from the Port of Geraldton in Western Australia, the filing said.
The shipment is the fourth and largest since production started at the mining firm's Kathleen Valley lithium operations in the state, per the filing.
The company's shares were up almost 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
