Vision Marine Technologies (VMAR) said Sunday it has formed a partnership with Armada Pontoons to launch a new pontoon boat that meets requirements for electric boats on some North American lakes.
Vision Marine Chief Executive Alexandre Mongeon described the new pontoon as "a turn-key, regulation-friendly" offering.
Many lakes in North America have implemented rules that allow only electric motors to protect ecosystems and cut down on pollution, the company said.
