Concord Healthcare Group (HKG:2453) said China's National Medical Products Administration approved a Registration Certificate for Medical Device for the proton therapy equipment by the company's supplier on Dec. 6, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The clinical trial of the proton therapy treatment was undertaken, after which the National Health Commission approved licensing the device to the company. Concord Healthcare Group said the proton therapy treatment will be available soon following completion of some preparations, the company said.
