China Transinfo Technology's (SHE:002373) unit, Zhejiang Uniview Technology, was included in the US' entity list for export control, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.

Companies under the list must apply for export licenses from the US Commerce Department when purchasing items controlled by the regulations.

The software developer said it is "actively responding to the risks that may arise" in the unit's inclusion in the list, the disclosure added.

The company's shares slipped more than 1% in recent trade.
