ZenaTech (ZENA) said Thursday it has launched Sky Traffic, a quantum computing project for traffic optimization and weather forecasting using ZenaDrone 1000 drones.

ZenaTech said the project developed after the interest from a government client to use ZenaDrone 1000 drones to monitor vehicle traffic.

The project will provide real-time traffic data to the unnamed government agency and to drivers as well as for weather forecasting.

ZenaTech's quantum computing team will use Amazon Web Services as its computing platform to manage the project.

ZenaTech shares were up over 27% in recent premarket trading.
