Kingsgate Consolidated's (ASX:KCN) subsidiary, Akara Resources, hit gold from a recent drill program at the Chatree gold mine in Thailand, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program yielded up to 9 meters at 1.2 grams per tonne grade of gold from 1 meter, the filing said.
Meanwhile, the mining firm also identified three gold-silver targets from a recent geochemical survey at the Nueva Esperanza development project in Chile, the filing added.
The company's shares were down almost 2% in recent Friday trade.
