The Supreme Court of New South Wales ordered that a meeting of Xref's (ASX:XF1) shareholders be held to decide on the company's proposed acquisition by Seek International Investments, a unit of Seek (ASX:SEK), according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The meeting is scheduled for Feb. 3, 2025, the filing said.

Shares of Xref rose past 2% in recent Friday trade, while shares of Seek fell almost 4%.
