Worthington Steel (WS) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $0.19 per diluted share, up from $0.11 a year earlier.
Net sales for the quarter ended Nov. 30 were $739 million, down from $808 million a year earlier.
One analyst expected $740.4 million in a FactSet survey.
Shares of the company slumped more than 12% in premarket activity on Thursday.
