NZ Windfarms (NZE:NWF) and Genesis Energy (NZE:GNE, ASX:GNE) agreed on a fixed price variable volume contract for difference for Hau Nui windfarm's output, according to a Thursday filing with the New Zealand bourse.
The contract is effective for three years starting Jan. 1, 2025.
The annual output is expected to range from 12 to 15 gigawatt hours, which is 12% to 14% of Te Rere Hau's current output.
Genesis Energy's shares were up nearly 3% in recent Friday trade in Australia.
