Alpha Star Acquisition (ALSA) said Friday it has received notice from Nasdaq that its securities will be delisted due to failure to complete a business combination by the Dec. 13 deadline.
Trading of the company's ordinary shares, units, rights, and warrants will be suspended on Dec. 23, the company said.
Alpha Star said it will not appeal the delisting decision and plans to apply for the listing of its securities on the OTC market.
The delisting does not affect its ongoing business combination with OU XDATA GROUP, which will seek a Nasdaq listing after closing, the firm said.
