Xinhua News Media (HKG:0309) reported a loss attributable to the owners of HK$3.5 million for the six months ended Sep. 30, narrower than the HK$8.2 million in the previous year, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Loss per share in the fiscal first quarter was HK$0.0018, narrower than the HK$0.0043 in the prior-year period.
The company's revenue was HK$179.3 million compared with HK$153.0 million the previous year.
The Company's shares were up over 2% in the recent trading.
