COFCO Bio-technology (SHE:000930) plans to offload 40.3 million shares in Huishang Bank (HKG:3698) through public listing, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Monday.

The shares represent 0.29% of the Chinese lender, the agricultural and sideline product distributor said.

The shares to be disposed was valued at a total of 156.4 million yuan as of Dec. 31, 2023, pricing each share at 3.88 yuan.

Huishang Bank's shares closed less than 3% higher.
