VersaBank Says Public Offering Underwriters Fully Exercised Overallotment Option

VersaBank (VBNK) said underwriters of its public offering fully exercised an option to purchase 849,056 additional common shares at $13.25 apiece, adding almost $11.3 million in gross proceeds.

That brought the total offering to around 6.51 million shares with gross proceeds of $86.25 million, VersaBank said Tuesday in a statement.

The funds will be used to support general banking purposes, VersaBank said.

VersaBank shares fell 0.8% in recent Tuesday trading.
