Shandong High Speed Renewable Energy's (SHE:000803) unit, Shangao Shifang Environmental Protection Energy Group, participated in a bid for the operation of Wenjiang District's kitchen waste treatment center, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Wednesday.

Chengdu Wenjiang Chengtou Shunyuan Ecological Environment Construction constructed phase I of the kitchen waste treatment center, the power company said.

The treatment center will have a waste treatment capacity of 200 tons per day and a kitchen waste treatment capacity of 100 tons per day.

Shandong High Speed Renewable Energy's shares rose less than 2% in recent trade.
