Brera Holdings (BREA) said Tuesday it completed the initial closing of a deal to acquire a 52% stake in Italian Serie B football club SS Juve Stabia from majority owner XX Settembre.

Brera said it acquired a 22% ownership in the club, with plans to increase its stake to 52% by March 2025, subject to agreement terms.

Brera shares were up more than 32% in recent trading.
