Ningbo Orient Wires & Cables (SHA:603606) won bids for two submarine cable projects for 1.28 billion yuan, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Wednesday.
The projects are China Huaneng's 220-kilovolt and 66 kV submarine cable project at the Peninsula North L Site, which costs 985 million yuan, and the Shanghai Survey and Design Institute's Three Gorges Yangjiang Qingzhou 7 offshore wind power 66kV submarine cable EPC project, which amounts to 290 million yuan, the Chinese wire and cable manufacturer said.
