LONDON, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Britain's biggest supermarket group Tesco TSCO.L and No. 2 Sainsbury's SBRY.L were the winners among British food retailers at Christmas, posting sales growth of 5% and 3.5% respectively, according to industry data published on Tuesday.
The data from market researcher Kantar showed No. 3 Asda remained the industry laggard.
