Charter Hall Retail REIT (ASX:CQR) said Charter Hall Wholesale Management, acting as trustee for various investment trusts, raised its stake in Hotel Property Investments (ASX:HPI) from 58.7% to 60.5%, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

It acquired 3.4 million stapled securities in an off-market takeover bid, valued at AU$3.752 per security, the filing said.
