Prospech (ASX:PRS) said it reassessed the potential of the Jokikangas project in Finland after hafnium and niobium prices surged recently, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Hafnium is currently selling for $4,800 per kilogram on the world market, a 220% surge since 2021, the filing said.
Prospech is currently advancing a sampling program to test previously drilled cores held by the Geological Survey of Finland to help evaluate the project's potential, as per the filing.
