Kolon Spaceworks' 54-liter hydrogen fuel tank received R134 certification from the United Nations European Economic Commission (ECE), the company said Tuesday.

Kolon Spaceworks is an advanced composite materials company under The Kolon Group, which is overseen by its holding company Kolon Corporation (KRX:002020).

The R134 certification, established by the ECE, is a sales qualification for high-pressure vessel products. With this certification, Kolon Spaceworks is set to expand into the hydrogen tank market.
