Da Yu Financial (HKG:1073) unit Mega Base Resources has agreed to extend the repayment date of a HK$9 million loan granted to borrower Lee Eng Leong to Dec. 17, a Friday bourse filing said.

Mega Base Resources had granted the loan to the borrower on June 17, 2024, and the initial repayment date had been set as Dec. 17, 2024.

Under the supplemental agreement, the loan has around a 13.62% per annum interest rate for the period between Dec. 17, 2024 and Jan. 16, 2025. After that, the interest rate will change to 11% per annum.
