Macmahon Holdings (ASX:MAH) secured a AU$463 million service contract from Indika Energy subsidiary Masmindo Dwi Area to provide mining services for the Awak Mas gold project in Indonesia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Scope of work consists of mine site development, as well as drilling, loading, and hauling activities over an initial seven-year period with an option to extend for an additional five years, the filing said. The contract is set to start by the first half of the year.
The company's shares were up almost 2% in recent Thursday trade.
