TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor-elect Pramono Anung will soon announce his transition team after the General Election Commission (KPU) officially names him as the new Jakarta governor.
Pramono said the transition team will comprise of professionals and people experienced in their respective fields. “This will not be a political approach,” he told the media crew on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
He mentioned some of the people chosen for his transition team will be those previously working for the Jakarta provincial government, such as water and spatial experts.
The governor-elect also said he will not work with civil state apparatus (ASN) from other regions while serving as Jakarta Governor, which he said was in accordance with his leadership style as a House member, presidential secretary, or minister.
“I will optimize the work of civil servants in Jakarta,” he said.
When asked about when he would share publicly the members of the transition team, Pramono only said he would immediately after KPU’s announcement.
The declaration of the elected governor and deputy governor of Jakarta was held today, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Pullman Hotel, South Jakarta.
The event was attended by the candidate pairs, namely Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana Abyoto, and Suswono. Ridwan Kamil was unable to attend today's event.
