Medallion Metals (ASX:MM8) said it discovered sulfide mineralization at the Trilogy deposit in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The first drill hole of the three-hole diamond drill program at the deposit yielded, semi-massive to massive sulfide zones between 109.80 meters and 117 meters, predominantly composed of 60%-80% pyrite, with 5%-10% galena and 3%-5% chalcopyrite, the filing said.
Assay results from the mineralized zone are expected in March, samples selected for metallurgical testing will be sent to interested third parties for potential direct purchase, the filing added.
