ST Engineering (SGX:S63) secured a contract to design and build a walk-to-work vessel for an oil and gas company, according to a company release on Monday.
The shipbuilding contract is part of the company's foray into specialized vessels supporting offshore operations.
The vessel can accommodate 106 persons and will have a ten-ton crane with active heave compensation.
The vessel is expected to be delivered in the first half of 2027, according to the release.
