SBI Holdings (TYO:8473) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alfanar Global Development (AGD) and BIM Capital to explore business opportunities in the energy and infrastructure sectors across countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council, including Saudi Arabia, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The partnership will involve joint project finance structuring for AGD's upcoming renewable energy and infrastructure initiatives. AGD and BIM Capital will also support SBI Group's future market entry into Saudi Arabia.
SBI shares gained nearly 1% in morning trade Wednesday.
