Infini Resources (ASX:I88) started preparation works for maiden diamond drilling at its Portland Creek uranium project in Canada, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The Newfoundland Mines Department approved access via road, forest trail, and river barge into the project's target corridor, with work underway to establish vehicular access, the filing said.

Drilling will start at the Talus prospect by the end of the month, according to the filing.
