Strike Energy (ASX:STX) Chief Executive Stuart Nicholls, resigned, effective Feb. 14, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Non-executive director Jill Hoffmann will act as interim CEO while a search for a permanent hire is underway. Hoffman will also transition to the role of executive director immediately.
In addition, the gas producer disclosed that it has started a strategic review of the company, particularly by looking into "a range of ownership and funding alternatives at both a project and corporate level."
Strike Energy noted that the board believes its project portfolio is "undervalued."
