Westgold Resources (ASX:WGX) achieved a record gold production of 80,886 ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of AU$2,703 per ounce in the fiscal second quarter, compared with 59,238 ounces at an AISC of AU$2,245 per ounce a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The mining firm sold 86,879 gold ounces at AU$4,066 per ounce in the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, contributing to a AU$353 million revenue in fiscal Q2, the filing said. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha were expecting AU$336.2 million in revenue.
