Amcor (AMCR) and Berry Global Group (BERY) reported Thursday the filing of the joint proxy statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for their planned merger.

The statement includes notices of Amcor and Berry shareholder meetings that will both take place on Feb. 25, the companies said.

The expected deal completion date is the middle of this year, they said.
