Unico Silver (ASX:USL) struck high-grade silver following the first phase of its 56-hole reverse circulation drilling program at the Cerro Leon project in Argentina, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Assay results include 3,134 grams per tonne grade of silver at the Chala prospect. Results for a further 10 holes are pending, the filing said.

The second phase of drilling activities comprising 10,000 meters is ongoing.
