CR Construction's (HKG:1582) CR Construction Company has accepted a tender awarded by the Hong Kong Housing Authority for the construction of a proposed public housing development in New Territories, Hong Kong, a Wednesday bourse filing said.

The contract, under which the builder will be the main contractor for providing building construction work, has a value of roughly HK$2 billion.

Work on the project is expected to begin in early February, the filing said.
