Aurelia Metals (ASX:AMI) reported "significant" copper and gold in its fiscal first half underground exploration programs within the Peak Mine in New South Wales, with discoveries at Kairos, Jubilee North, New Cobar, and Hercules deposits, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Copper grades up to 6.4% were intersected at Kairos Deeps, with drilling indicating the deposit continues 300 meters down dip from existing mine development and remains open at depth, while drilling extended known mineralization along strike at the Jubilee deposit, the filing said.
Meanwhile, drilling intersected "strong" copper grades down-dip at New Cobar, and confirmed high-grade mineralization in the Hercules deposit, according to the filing.
