Vertical Aerospace (EVTL) said Friday it closed its public offering of 15 million units at $6 apiece for gross proceeds of $90 million.
The amount raised was up from an initial launch target of $75 million, the company said. The proceeds included over $60 million from new investors and $25 million from Mudrick Capital.
Shares of the company were up more than 9% in recent trading.
