Meeka Metals (ASX:MEK) said it advanced its Murchison gold project in Western Australia with the first gold targeted in mid-2025, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The company said expansion work on the carbon in the leach gold processing plant continues at pace and it has completed planned upgrade works along the haul road between the open pit mining area and the processing plant.
It also completed civil works for a new administration complex and the mining fleet is expected to arrive in early February.
Open-pit mining is expected to start in March, the filing said.
