Noxopharm passed preclinical safety tests for its SOF-SKN lupus drug candidate, part of drug development before a phase one clinical trial. The drug candidate's active ingredient passed both in vitro genotoxicity studies and the cardiac safety test without any safety issues identified.
New Frontier Minerals (ASX:NFM)
New Frontier Minerals completed a high-resolution, helicopter-borne radiometric and magnetic survey at the Harts Range project in the Northern Territory. The geophysical survey data is being processed and interpreted, with preliminary findings expected soon.
Corazon Mining (ASX:CZN)
Corazon Mining completed an aerial versatile time domain electromagnetic geophysical survey at the MacBride project in Canada. The survey identified numerous conductors, which the company plans to use to define priority drill targets for the first phase of drilling, scheduled in the first quarter of the year.
Athena Resources (ASX:AHN)
Athena Resources named Peter Jones chief executive, effective Feb. 17.
Basin Energy (ASX:BSN)
Basin Energy said its license application for the Trollberget project has been approved by the Swedish Government. The Swedish Mining Inspectorate granted the company the exclusive rights to explore the area for three years.
