Herc Holdings' board has raised the equipment-rental supplier's quarterly dividend by 5.3% to 70 cents a share from 66.5 cents.
The new payout, equal to $2.80 a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.42% based on Monday's closing price of $197.24, up from 1.35%.
The Bonita Springs, Fla., company on Tuesday said the increased dividend is payable March 4 to shareholders of record Feb. 18.
