International Housewares Retail (HKG:1373) bought back 150,000 ordinary shares on Wednesday for HK$164,730 or at an average price of HK$1.0982 apiece, a same-day bourse filing said.

The shares represent roughly 0.0207% of the housewares retail company's issued share capital.

The company will cancel the repurchased shares.
