Orion Minerals (ASX:ORN) issued nearly 12.2 million fully paid ordinary shares at a deemed issue price of AU$0.0176 apiece to key personnel as part of the company's short-term incentive scheme, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The metal explorer's shares were down 6% in recent Friday trade.
