The number of visitors to Hong Kong during the Lunar New Year festivities reached 1.4 million, Hong Kong Business reported Thursday.
Visitors from mainland China reached 1.2 million, the report said.
Hong Kong's immigration department logged 150,000 visitors from the mainland daily, with a peak of 190,000 on Jan. 30, according to the report.
Tour groups reached 2,200, or 7% of visitors from the mainland, the report said.
