Feb 11 - (The Insurer) - Marsh has named Nigel Hinshelwood chair of Marsh Ltd in the UK, subject to regulatory approval.

Hinshelwood is scheduled to succeed Tom Colraine on 31 March 2025.

He has previously served as a non-executive director on the Lloyd’s franchise board, as chair of Axa XL Underwriting Agencies Limited and Axa XL Insurance Company UK Limited, and as a non-executive director of Nordea.

Hinshelwood currently holds several external appointments, including as senior independent director at Lloyds Bank, international advisory council member of Adobe Systems Software, and advisory council member of International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers.

Earlier in his career Hinshelwood held several executive roles at HSBC, including head of HSBC UK and global head of operations and head of HSBC Insurance Holdings.
